On October 4th, we are organizing GeoMeetup Zagreb, with a goal to bring together Croatian geo-community in order to meet and exchange ideas on a regular basis.
We are excited to kick off a new series of monthly geo meetups in Zagreb with the idea of getting together, hang out, share ideas & knowledge, and what we are all doing in geo. Also, this is a great opportunity to hear some thoughts on WebGL from our friends at Mapbox, as well as to learn about Geo data in R, or Legal regulations in GEO systems.
One of the goals of GeoMeetup is to extend our community to new members, so we took the opportunity to co-locate the event with this year’s WebCamp Zagreb, to whose organization we are thankful for support.
GeoMeetup Zagreb will take place at the Plaza Event Center (previously Hypo Expo XXI conference center), Slavonska avenija 6, Zagreb, Room Brac. The entrance is free for everyone, but in order to attend, the participants have to register using the Meetup platform.
